We took a risk with this house plan and the charming, southern style feel of the outside, but it really turned out perfectly. This home has an incredible cathedral ceiling with stunning wood beams that adjoin the loft upstairs. In the kitchen, we added open shelving, a custom hood, and a huge walk in pantry. With the master on the main floor, and a gorgeous deck overlooking the beautiful lot backed up to NGPA, this home really captivated us.

A dear friend asked if we could build a garage with an apartment on her property in downtown Snohomish, among all the historic homes. Of course we had to! This gave us an opportunity that was different from our usual spec homes. We were able to be a little more flexible in the design and create something personalized that really embodied her style. She chose some beautiful, elegant design pieces with a touch of modern, while keeping it classic to fit in with the historic homes surrounding it.

We saw all the potential this property had and we had a vision to bring back its original charm. We knew it would be a lot of work. This was our first renovation project, and it needed to be stripped to its studs. We had an absolute blast customizing this home and planning out every little detail; it’s not every day that you get to restore a historic home!

This was one of our only customer builds, and we had so much fun letting the owners really customize every aspect of it. It’s tucked in the forest, away from the road so it truly felt like an escape. The floor plan was unique and one we hadn’t worked with before, so it was great to see it unfold and see the final product. We are so happy it turned into the home of their dreams.
